A business coach provides you with advice and guidance; this is usually based on their own experiences and capabilities. It pays to take the time to find the coaching that's right for you.

For example; Does your prospective coach understand what you need from them and more importantly, can they deliver what you want to the business coaching relationship?
A few questions to ask yourself before selecting a coach:
1. What will having a coach give me?
2. What experience does my coach need?
3. Does the prospective coaches CV and referrals reflect that experience?
4. What do I want? What is my desired outcome?

2. Can you call at any time for a quick discussion?
3. If you email will you get a prompt reply?
4. Is weekend contact allowed?
5. How often will they contact you as a part of the regular coaching process?
6. Will you be locked into an agreement for a fixed period of time and or money?
7. Finally, is this coach worth the money they are charging? This is easy as
